


Gallardo’s hobbies include music in all its forms, learning new instruments, and writing and arranging music. Gallardo regularly performs with and directs theatrical groups in the New Jersey area as a musician, actor, and musical director and educator.

Gallardo also teaches the Music Theory classes, where students learn to compose music. These ensembles regularly perform for special events at TJAA and in the Elizabeth community. Gallardo teaches the TJAA concert band and Jazz Ensemble, where students learn about music through performance. The TJAA band program has been under the direction of Mr. Mark Terenzi, Jazz with Any Fusco, and music theory and chamber music with Dr. While at KUCM he studied guitar with Christopher Kenniff, composition with Dr. in Music Education from the Kean University Conservatory of Music. As a teen he performed with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra’s youth division on cello. Diego Gallardo – Concert and Jazz Gallardo, an Elizabeth native, began his musical education in the fourth grade by joining the clarinet section of the school band at Abraham Lincoln School #14, under the direction of James Prime.
